Collapsible Filters in Report Builder

When building reports, filters may take up a large portion of the screen if preset on a built in report. On a standard display, this can push the main charts out of view, making it unclear that visualizations are being generated beneath the filters.

Current Behavior

• Filters cannot be collapsed today.

• By default, when a report is created from a built-in template, all pre-set filters appear at the top.

• Users can still add filters dynamically, but default filters are intended to show the most common/useful fields upfront.

Workaround

• Remove unnecessary filters from the built-in template report.

• Re-publish the report without those filters.

• On the embedded (viewer) side, filters can still be added manually via “Add Filters” as needed.
